Hey everybody. I was wanting to find out about heads-up racing around Alabama. I finally came to my senses about built a SBC camaro drag car. I have always built turbo VW's and had the white 7.0 VW at lassiter about 5 years ago. I moved overseas and sold it, then I got back I built another one but there isn't many classes to race it in. So I put it in storage and built the camaro. I know Baileyton is having a 6.0 heads up soon, but I have some tuning to do first. What are tracks are putting on 6.0? I would like to run ORSCA, but my car has a fiberglass front and doors on it. And it should run 6.0 so it won't be competitive in their 10.5 outlaw class Specs" 68 Camaro Back-halved Stock Front frame rails Full cage Stock firewall (smoothed) and driver floorpan from FW to behind seat 14x32x15 slicks 3-link Alky carb SBC

go on to dragcoverage.com and there is all kinds of tracks running them here. look under the headsup forum. the fiberglass front and doors wont stop you from running orsca. if it has headlights and weighs 2800 lbs. and looks factory. most of us that run in the 6.0 class at orsca wont be a baileyton, cause we dont run buy back races. but that is up to each persons own liking. tony murphy
